VanVoorst > Eric's tent after our first night camping in Joshua Tree (he had already cleared the snow off once).

VanVoorst > We ended up with 1 1/2 feet of snow at our campsite. When we got up all of the local's had fled the park, it was deserted except for one set of neighbors. The other end of the park got probably closer to 2 feet of snow. The thing that looks like a boulder in the back ground is Eric's tent

VanVoorst > We decided to drive around & see the desert in the snow storm. We ended up getting stuck outside of the park. We went to Palm Springs to hang out for the day. We weren't able to get back into the park until later in the day. They were only letting 4x4s through the park (which we didn't have). We talked the rangers into letting us sneak back in on the far side of the park where it hadn't snowed quite as much.
